1) UNIVERSITY OF CALGARY RESEARCHER STUDIES WAYS TO AVOID TRAFFIC

2) SIEMENS REWARDED BIGGEST URBAN TRAFFIC CONTROL TURN KEY PROJECT IN CHINA
"Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province, one of the most important cities in Central China with a population of 8.5 million inhabitants identified the needs to align the fast economical growths with the demand for smooth traffic flow. This project will equip more than 420 junctions with complete traffic control technology including CCTV monitoring, traffic detection, traffic lights and latest communication system linking a main control center and 2 sub-centers in Wuhan. 4) OKI SUCCEEDS IN TRIAL PRODUCTION OF "SAFETY MOBILE PHONE"
"Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. has succeeded in developing an ultra small DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Communication) wireless module for embedding in mobile phones to be used for DSRC inter-vehicle communication systems.
